ABE SPEER JR.
"The Lord is my Shephard"
Abe Speer Jr., 65, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, in Laredo, Texas.
Abe was born and raised in Laredo. He attended local schools and graduated from Nixon High School. Abe was very witty and was always ready to share a joke he had recently heard. Abe always saw the good in people.
He is preceded in death by his father, Abe Sr. and brother, Habib Speer.
He is survived by his children, Gabriel Bryan (Leslie) Speer, Lyanne Jalily Speer, and Elsa Speer, mother of his children. He is survived by his granddaughter, Annberly. He is also survived by his mother, Manuela Speer, brothers, Tony and Robert, sisters, Mary, Sadie, Evangelina, Sara and Marta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If you get a chance to look down on us, we hope you know that we are missing you.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a Religious service, officiated by an Elder of the church he attended, will be held at 3:30 p.m., in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
