Abel Vidaurri Jr.

Abel Vidaurri, Jr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at a local hospital.

Mr. Vidaurri was born and raised in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife Abelina A. Vidaurri, his parents, mother Florencia Flores Vidaurri and father, Abel Vidaurri Sr.

He is survived by his Sons and daughters; Alma B. Moncivais (Jose Luis Moncivais), Alma C. Trevino (Rogelio Trevino), Maricela A. Rios ( + Ramiro Rios Jr.), Abel Vidaurri III (Patricia Vidaurri), Araceli Mora (Raymundo Mora).

His grandsons and granddaughters: David Navarro (Vanessa Navarro), Jose A. Vidaurri, Jaqueline V. Crawford (William Crawford), Ramiro Rios III (Elena De La Rosa),  Jennifer Moncivais (Samuel Arredondo), Eric Mora (Cindy Guerra), + Rogelio Trevino Jr. (Jennifer Trevino), Jose Luis Moncivais Jr. (Mayra Moncivais), Monica Kirst (Marshall Kirst), Enrique Rios, Selena Trevino, Antonio Mora, Mark Mora, Abel Vidaurri IV (Tori Vidaurri) and Ricardo Trevino (Sandra Trevino).

His Brothers and sisters, + Ninfa Persohn, Ofelia Plante (Roberto Plante), Maria O'Neil (James O'Neil) and Selinda V. Garcia ( + Hugo Garcia)

Sons and sister-in-laws; + Pilar Arenivas (Celia Arenivas), + Mike Morales (Josefa Morales) and + Raquel Berlanga (Jesus Berlanga).

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August, 30, 2022 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: David Navarro, Eric Mora, Jose Luis Moncivais Jr., Jose Alberto  Vidaurri, Abel Vidaurri III, Ramiro Rios Jr., Ricardo Treviño and Gilberto Palacios.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels.
