ADALBERTO A. LUNA
Adalberto A. Luna, 90, a lifelong resident of Laredo, passed away on Thursday, July 05, 2018 at his residence.
He was a veteran having served in the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1947. He was later employed by the Union Pacific Rail Road for 47 years until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his son, Arnulfo Luna.
Brother, Francisco A. Luna.
His first wife, Esther A. Luna.
Son, German Luna.
and by his second wife, Maria A. Luna.
Son, Luis Luna.
He is survived by is children, Maria Luisa (Ricardo) Gonzalez, Adalberto A. (Rosa Maria) Luna Jr., Gloria (Francisco) Camacho, Martin Luna, Jorge A. (Magda) Luna, Anna M. Shaffer, Francisco A. (Juanita) Luna, Patricia V. (Guadalupe) Patino, Diana Melinda Mathis-Luna, Dinora Melissa Trevino, Yvonne (Frank) Verta, Araceli Luna, Yvette (Kevin) Kenealy and Humberto (Jennifer) Luna.
35 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
