ADOLFO M. MARTINEZ Adolfo M. Martinez, 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Martinez was born in San Carlos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a resident of Waukegan, Illinois before returning to Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Minerva C. Martinez. Sons and daughters, Adolfo (Deyanira) Martinez Jr., Raul (Leticia) Martinez, Javier (Bertha) Martinez, Maricela (Jose) Sanchez, Ivette (Michael) Howland and Arturo Martinez. Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving him are one brother and numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a Liturgy of the Word will be officiated at 12:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held at a later date.
