Obituary

HONORABLE CONSTABLE AGUSTIN M. "TINO" JUAREZ "Tino" as he was affectionately known by all his loved ones, friends and community was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He was a retired, decorated United States Marine and a member of the Marine Corp. League. He served the Webb County and Laredo area as a Texas Certified Peace Officer with over 40 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career in law enforcement as a Laredo Police Officer and afterwards as a Webb County Chief Deputy Sheriff. He was presently serving as the Constable for Webb County Precinct 4. His hometown of Laredo was very important to him. Tino would take the time to meet and speak to people and was always approachable. He was always ready to assist the community in any manner that he was able to. He was also recognized for his hard work and service to the Knights of Columbus, the Korean Veteran's, UISD Administration, numerous schools within Precinct 4 and the Catholic and Christian Churches within his Precinct and was a member of the Laredo International Fair and Exposition (LIFE). A devoted Catholic he was a lifelong parishoner of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a member of the St Patrick Men's Club. Tino always had a very dedicated and thoughtful staff that made it possible for him to serve and protect the people of his Precinct, his community and the citizens of Laredo and Webb County. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro B."Teddy" Juarez and Aurora S. Juarez. Brothers, Teodoro "Teddy" Juarez, Andres "Andy" Juarez and Arnoldo Juarez. He is survived by his loving wife, Raquel Sepulveda Juarez. Children, Raquel (Jason) Reynolds of Austin and Tino (Nancy) Lopez. Grandchildren, Marcella Tanner, Krista and Nevan Lopez. Brother, Armando (Carmela) Juarez. Sisters, Angela (Benito, dec'd) Juarez, Aurora Lambert and Virginia Garcia. Tino was especially proud of all his nephews whom he guided and mentored through their formative years. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the St. Patrick Catholic Church, located at 555 E. Del Mar. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. a Holy Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
