AIDA A. BENAVIDES Aida A. Benavides, 52, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Benavides was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She worked for numerous years with Dr. Rolando Guerra and family appreciates the support given during their time of need. She is preceded in death by his father, Abraham Esquivel. She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Benavides. Son and Daughter, Manuel (Cynthia) Benavides and Aida Alejandra Benavides. Granddaughter, Leilani Benavides. Mother, Maria De Jesus Esquivel. Siblings, Mary Lou (Leonardo, dec'd) Alejandro, Elvia Esquivel, Lourdes (Henry) Pedraza, Leticia Esquivel, Abraham Esquivel Jr., Sandra (Jorge) Silva, Sonia Esquivel and Juanita (Noe) Diaz. Caretaker, Carmen Pena. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased was held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
