Obituary

AIDA G. MENDOZA

Aida G. Mendoza, 73, joined our Lord in his heavenly kingdom on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Mendoza was born and raised in Laredo, Texas.

She loved being a wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Mrs. Mendoza enjoyed listening to music especially dancing to "The Chair" by George Strait with her husband of 56 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her smile would always light up the room. She loved having random road trips to Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino and having her tequila sunrise. Mrs. Mendoza was filled with love and happiness and always managed to make everyone laugh. Her arms were always wide open, they were always the safest place to hide. She made all of our troubles disappear. Her love will live inside everyone she has touched. She was always there to catch us when we'd fall. She was our shoulder to cry on. She was our rock. She was our best friend. She was a fighter. She faced many challenges in life and we saw her fight to overcome them. She may be gone but she left a living legacy. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

"She didn't lose the battle, she fought to the very end". – I Timothy 6:12
