Alberto Avila's Obituary
ALBERTO FELIPE AVILA
Alberto Felipe Avila, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at a local hospital.
Mr. Avila was born in Gonzalez, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria de la Luz Avila, who passed away in 2014.
He is survived by his sons, Juan Alberto Avila and Daniel (Leticia) Avila.
Daughters, Maria Domitila (Armando) Palomo and Lucy Araceli Garcia (Hector Leyva).
15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
