Obituary

ALEJANDRO ALANIZ

Alejandro Alaniz, 98 passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Mr. Alaniz was born in Hebbronville, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Leticia Alaniz and Miroslava A. Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 71 years of marriage, Genoveva Villarreal Alaniz.
His daughters, Esmeralda Alaniz and Griselda (Lauro) Mascorro.
8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
The family is eternally grateful to Dr. Oscar Gutierrez Vizuet and his staff for his unwavering dedication, kindness and care provided to Mr. Alaniz throughout his life.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and rosary with a Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be at 6 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
