ALEJANDRO SANCHEZ JR. Alejandro Sanchez Jr., 57, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Sanchez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Angela Sanchez. He is survived by his loving wife, Modesta Sanchez. Daughter, Alejandra Sanchez. Sister, Miss. Santa Sanchez. Brother, Oscar (Lucia) Sanchez. Cousins, Gilberto (Michelle) Sanchez, Carmela and Jaime Leal, Elva Alicia (Jesus) Casso, Griselda (Gilberto, dec'd) Sanchez, Juan Jose (Ely) Esparza, Raquel (Eduardo) Mata, Hector (Rosa) Cardenas, Alicia (Antonio) Ramirez, Irma Cardenas, Roberto Sanchez and Carlos Sanchez. Aunt, Estela Cardenas. Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation and a Vigil of the Deceased was held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
