ALFONSO VARGAS CAMPOS
Alfonso Vargas Campos, 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Vargas Campos was born in Nueva Rosita, Cuah., Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo Campos and Bartola V. Campos.
He is survived by his loving wife, Claribel M. Vargas.
Children, Miguel Angel (Carmen) Martinez, Manuel De Jesus Martinez, Maribel Campos (Ramsez Maiz), Luis Alfonso Campos, Alfonso (Toni) Campos Jr., Leonardo (Sarah) Campos and Maggie Campos (Don Patton).
Siblings, Rogelio Campos, Arnulfo Campos and Irene Campos.
Also surviving him are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy.
Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
