ALFONSO GONZALEZ Alfonso Gonzalez, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 07, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents Jorge Gonzalez and Basilia Gonzalez, sisters, Alicia Gonzalez Reyes, Ignacia Gonzalez Quintanilla and Ricardo Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years of marriage, Francisca J. Gonzalez. By his Son and daughters: Monica (Juan) Mata, Imelda Gonzalez, Yvette (Israel) Contreras, Alfonso (Claudia) Gonzalez and Cynthia (Rick) Quiroz; Grandchildren: Cynthia Mata, Mayte Mata, Jose Juan "Jacinto" Mata, Pablo Antonio Mendez, Ricardo Ismael Gonzalez, Anabel Contreras, Isareli Contreras, Jassel Contreras, Ismael Contreras, Jr., Veronica A. Gonzalez, Hector Huerta, and Alfonso Gonzalez, III. Brothers and Sisters: Oralia Jaramillo, Herminia Jaramillo, Natalia Puruata, Jorge Gonzalez and Elodia Gonzalez Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, December 10, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church . Committal services will then follow at a later date.
