Alfonso Martinez, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2025.
Alfonso Martinez, was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfredo Lozano and Rita Nolasco Lozano. Paternal grandparents, Camilo Zavala and Angelita E. De Zavala. Mother, Oralia L. Martinez, Brothers Juan Jose Martinez, Santos Martinez, Jr., and Nephew Samuel "Sammie" Martinez.
He is survived by his Father, Santos Martinez Sr., Daughter, Kayla Martinez-Stevenson (Montey), Granddaughter, Sydney Stevenson. Brothers, Ramiro Martinez, Leonel Martinez and Sister, Maria De Los Angels (Rogelio) Banda. Nephews and Nieces, Juan Jose Martinez Jr (Nancy), Maria De Los Angeles Martinez (Jesus B. Rodriguez), Jose Juan Martinez, Jesus Antonio Martinez (Maria Isabel), Ramiro Martinez Jr. (Michelle), Elvira Martinez, Teresa Banda and Jessica Cook (Brent).
Numerous grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
