ALFREDO HINOJOSA
Alfredo Hinojosa, 88, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Hinojosa was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. For many years, he was employed
as a Miner at the Texas Smelting Company.
He enjoyed nature, taking long walks and taking in the surrounding views and sights. He relished his time with his beloved family.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Inez Hinojosa.
Parents, Jesus Hinojosa and Maria Luisa G. Hinojosa,
Brothers, Manuel Hinojosa, Ignacio Hinojosa and Roberto Hinojosa.
Sisters, Evangelina Chapa, Maria Guzman and Guadalupe Alaniz.
He is survived by his children, Jose Alfredo (Marta Patricia) Hinojosa, Patricia (Fernando) Gallegos and Humberto Hinojosa.
Grandchildren, Heather, Jesus Alfredo, Angel, Aaron, Fernando Gallegos III and Jorge Gallegos.
Great-grandchildren, Saida, Chris and Nicole.
Twin brother, Alonso Hinojosa.
Sister, Lydia Savedra.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
