ALFREDO RAMIREZ Alfredo Ramirez, 55, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Ramirez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for many years, he spent the last year of his life surrounded by his family in San Antonio. He is preceded in death by his father, Reyes Ramirez who passed away on January 13, 1960. By his mother, Maria Estela Ramirez who passed away on March 20, 2011. Maternal grandparents, Maria Garcia who passed away on December 31, 1987 and Esteban Garcia who passed away on July 1, 1978. He is survived by his sister, Nora L. Ramirez. Brothers, Reyes (Elda Luz Escalante) Ramirez, Jr. and Jose Ramirez. Friend of the Family, Rita Ramos and The Ramos Family. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Decease will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
