ALFREDO "FREDDY" ROCHA

Alfredo "Freddy" Rocha, 80, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Mr. Rocha was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

His Family will always remember him as a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by each of them.

He graduated from Martin High School , Class of 1962, where he was active in sports, especially in Track and Field, as a sprinter, and was duly recognized for his accomplishments in this. He was later an Accountant with LISD for over 20 years until his retirement and was a member of LULAC for numerous years.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Alicia Sanchez, Felipe Rocha Jr. and Ernestina Laurel.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years of marriage, Maria del Rosario Rocha.

Children, Maria del Rosario Rocha, Estella (Felipe+) Morales and Alfredo (Veronica) Rocha Jr.

Grandchildren, Stephanie (Thomas) Morales, Queli Andre (Timoteo) Garcia, Alejandro Alfredo Rocha, Aaron V. Rocha, Vicente Rocha and Alan Jacobo Rocha.

Great grandchildren, Sterling Tate Wright and Dalilah Adela Garcia.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 departing from teh Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE:  Alfredo Rocha Jr. Alejandro Rocha, Aaron Rocha, Alan Rocha, Timoteo Garcia and Tomas Wright.

HONORARY PALLBEARER: Sterling Tate Wright.
