Obituary

ALICIA SALINAS DE ESQUINCA JULY 19, 1928 - JUNE 11, 2014 Alicia S. Esquinca, 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her local residence. Mrs. Esquinca was born in Oilton, Texas and had lived in Laredo for all of her life. She attended and was a graduate of Martin High School. She is preceded in death by parents, Desiderio Salinas, Aurora Montemayor and Francisca Salinas. Brother and Sisters, Gloria Salinas, Mateo Flores and Azeneth Flores. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years of marriage, Jose Gabriel Esquinca Salinas. Children, Jose Gabriel (Sonia) Esquinca, Jr., Sara Alicia Esquinca, Patricia Ann Esquinca, Felix Enrique (Laura) Esquinca, Humberto Noe (Ana Maria) Esquinca, Alma Leticia (Gilberto) Narvaez and Hector Hugo (Noemi) Esquinca. Grandchildren, Cynthia, Jose Gabriel, III., Noe Orlando, Julia Isabel Esquinca, Mark Anthony and Stephanie Ashley Ortega, Fernando, III. and Patty Ann Vasquez, Laura Isabel and Connie Frances Esquinca, Diana Alicia, Humberto Noe and Kasandra Naomi Esquinca, Alica Gabriela Vazquez and Gabriel Alejandro Narvaez, Jessica Judith Esquinca. 7 great-grandchildren. Sister, Gregoria Garza and Brother, Onecimo Flores. Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
