ALICIA A. RODRIGUEZ Alicia A. Rodriguez, 64, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Chavez and Concepcion Chavarria Chavez. Brothers, Juan Chavez and Roberto Chavez, Jr. Sister, Graciela Chavez. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years of marriage, Jose C. Rodriguez, Sr. Sons, Jose C. (Roxanne) Rodriguez, Jr., Gerardo Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez and Roberto Rodriguez and Elizabeth. Grandchildren, Jose C. Rodriguez, III., Christopher Joe Rodriguez, Matthew Ray Rodriguez, Dominique Angel Rodriguez, Andre J. Rodriguez and Roberto Rodriguez, Jr. Brother, Jesus (Isabel) Chavez. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez ands Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
