ALICIO DIAZ DE LA CRUZ Alicio Diaz De La Cruz, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Diaz De La Cruz was born in Cuba and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He had been an employee for H.E.B. for numerous years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alicio Diaz Gonzalez and Maria Irene De La Cruz Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years of marriage, Maria Guadalupe R. De La Cruz. Children, Maria Irene Diaz, Jose De Jesus (Emilia Diaz Cristan) Diaz, Barbara (Jose Alberto Romero) Diaz Romero and Alicia Diaz. Grandchildren, Alejandra Claudio, Genesis Claudio, Arianna Claudio, Erika Diaz, Joannie Diaz, Johnathan Diaz and Jose De Jesus Diaz. 2 great-grandchildren, Brandon Beckman Villalobos and Nathan Mathew Alvarez. Sister, Aide Reyes. Also numerous brothers, sisters, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held at a later date.
