Obituary

ALMA ROSA CASTILLEJA

Alma Rosa Castilleja, was called by the Lord on Thursday, Sept 17, 2020.

Alma was born on December. 4, 1956. Throughout her life Alma visited several states, including Minnesota but resided permanently in Laredo,Texas.

Alma was a strong, intelligent, humble, hardworking woman who devoted her entire life to her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Irene Casso.

Sister, Araceli Reyes.
She is survived by loving husband, 38 years of marriage, Jorge Alberto Castilleja.
Children, Abel (Dr. Johnny Cavazos) Lerma Jr., Antonio (Christina) Lerma, Jenny Ileen (Israel) Garcia and Jannel Irene Castilleja.
Grandchildren Jasmine A. Garcia, Maribel Lerma, Maricela Lerma, Antonio Lerma Jr and Marissa Lissette Lerma as well as 5 great grandchildren whom she held deep in her heart.
Siblings, Pablo (Sonia) Casso, Pedro (Norma) Casso, Rosalinda (Enrique) De Leon and Sara (Tomas) Alejandro.
Brother-in-law, Juan Reyes.
Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, relatives and close friends.
Alma is in eternal rest and is happily living within the presence of the Lord. She will be remembered always and forever until we meet again.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
