AMADO NAVARRO

Amado Navarro, Jr. passed away in Laredo, Texas on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

Mr. Navarro was born in Oilton, Texas, resided most of his life in Laredo and spent thirty years in Wisconsin before returning to his beloved Laredo. Amado Navarro, Jr. was an adventurous soul who approached life's challenges as mere temporary obstacles begging his deviceful resolve. Amado was most expressive of his enjoyment of life when he was around family and friends.

Mr. Navarro is preceded in death by his father Amado Navarro, Sr., his mother Olivia Garcia Navarro and his brother Carlos Navarro.

Mr. Navarro is survived by his loving wife, Maria de Jesus Navarro.

Children, Gilberto L. (Mary Louise) Navarro, Linda I. (Fernando) Ortega, and Elsie O. (Michael) Wu.

Surviving grandchildren include Linda Marie Ortega, Rachel Ortega, Alexzander Ortega, Michael A. Wu, Alejandra Wu, Alexis Wu, Andrew Navarro and Jennifer Navarro.

Brother, Antonio Ramon Navarro, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 25 % of capacity inside our funeral home.

It is preferred that minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation and a rosary, recited on Monday, May 25, 2020, were held in the Hernandez Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapel, located at 800 Boston St. Holy Mass was celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Michael Wu, Michael Anthony Wu, Fernando Ortega, Alexzander Navarro, Gilberto L. Navarro and Andrew Navarro.
