AMADO VASQUEZ

Amado Vasquez, 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Mr. Vasquez was born in El Potrero, N.L.,  Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefina Medrano Vasquez.

He is survived by his children, Juan Guadalupe (Claudia) Vasquez, Amado (Miriam J.) Vasquez Jr. and Noel (Marcela Yazmin) Vasquez.

Grandchildren, Valeria Vasquez, Mireya Marlen Vasquez, Eduardo Miguel Vasquez, Alyssa Nichol Vasquez and Noelia Josephine Vasquez.

Mother: Bernarda Vasquez.

Siblings, Juan Vasquez, Guadalupe Vasquez and Dolores Vasquez.

Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Amado Vasquez Jr., Noel Vasquez, Juan G. Vasquez, Roberto Puga, Eduardo M. Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, Angel Julian Vasquez and Jr., Vasquez.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Erik Carillo and Roger Carrizales.
