Obituary

AMALIA LIMON Amalia Limon, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at local retirement home. Mrs. Limon was born in Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. Amalia Limon was a great supporter in Politics and was very much involved in Mission San Carlos. She was recognized by the Veterans from Laredo with a plaque for her unending support to them. She is survived by her daughter, Esther (Wilson) Santos. Grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Elisa S. (Austin) Tilton and Christian Santos. Great-grandchildren, Sky A. Wilson and Page Wilson. Sisters, Hortencia Limon and Angela Limon. Brother, GIlberto Limon. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
