Obituary

ANA MARIA REYES

Ana Maria Reyes passed away at her home in Laredo, Texas, after a courageous battle with Arthritis. She was 80 years old.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and trusted friend.

Ana Maria was employed at LISD, in Food Service at Farias Elementary School for over 17 years. After retiring from the school district, she enjoyed her days surrounded by family, usually at family gatherings, cookouts and vacations.

She always enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Isabel Gonzalez.
Parents-in-law, Margarito and Angelita Reyes.

Son-in-laws, Luis A. Estevis and Felipe Arroyo.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 58 years of marriage, Federico Reyes.

Daughters, Maria Delmira (Marco Antonio) Llanas, Ana Isabel (Octavio) Rodriguez, Adriana ( Luis A. +) Estevis, Norma (Learnoard) Carroll and Rebecca Reyes.

Grandchildren, Marco Antonio (Alexis) Llanas Jr., Jorge Heriberto (Maria) Llanas, Octavio Rodriguez Jr., Federico (Nayelly) Rodriguez, Faustino Rodriguez, Ana Victoria Rodriguez, Sofia Estevis, Luis Alonso (Jennifer) Estevis Jr., Jose Luis (Kassandra) Estevis, Luis Alfredo (Melissa) Estevis, Ariana Estevis, Olivia (Hector) Polendo, Lucia (Jerry) Gonzalez, Carolina (Raul) Alvarado and Gael Isaias Reyes.

Great-grandchildren, Khrystal A. Gaxiola, Marc A. Llanas, Khristina A. Llanas, Jorge A. Llanas, Leonel Llanas, Dakota Sky Fraga, Federico Rodriguez Jr., Ximena Rodriguez, Andrew F. Rodriguez, Skylynn Fraga, Danara Estevis, Allison Estevis, Aubree Estevis, Camelia Polendo and Natalie Martinez.
Siblings, Dario (Sara+) Gonzalez, Maria Antonia (Fructoso+) Tovar, Jesus (Julia) Gonzalez, Maria Luisa (Roberto) Brooks and Alejandro (Rosita) Gonzalez.

Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Rododlfo Molina and De Alma's Home Health for the unyielding support and special care of our beloved mother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
