Obituary

ANGEL V. MENDOZA
Angel V. Mendoza, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Mr. Mendoza was born in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dario and Severa Mendoza.
His beloved wife, Maria Laura B. Mendoza.
Also preceding him are his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Santa Laura Mendoza (Kurt Fulerton), Luz (Rene) Chavez, Sonia (Billy) Renick and Angel (Maria) Mendoza.
5 grandchildren.
Brothers, Raul (Ester) Mendoza and Jesus (Ofelia) Mendoza.
Brother-in-Law, Dr. Oscar (Felicitas) Benavides.
Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 14, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Angel Mendez, Bobby Benavides, Salvador Nevarez, Ricardo Benavides, Rene Chavez, Billy Renick, Ruben Trevino and Oscar Benavides.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Sonia Renick.
