Obituary

ANSELMA R. ALDACO
Anselma R. Aldaco, 74, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Mrs. Aldaco was born in Encinal. Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She trained and worked as a medical clerk and later she was a prominent member of the Encinal Community. A former City Council member as well as a member of the Encinal Economic Development Council. Even after leaving her positions, Mrs. Aldaco made it a point to always find a way  to make the Encinal Community a better place.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Herlinda Rodriguez.
Sons, Paulino Aldaco and Sonny Allen Aldaco.
Son-in-Law, Robert Rene Salinas.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years of marriage,  Leopoldo F. Aldaco.
Children, Adan Leopoldo Aldaco, Dolores Eva (Roberto) Garza, Fabian Aldaco, Maribel (Alonso) Bustamante, Consuelo (Roberto+) Salinas, Leopoldo (Janie) Aldaco, Aldo Aldaco and Miguel Angel (Gina) Aldaco.
62 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
Siblings, Alicia Valles+, Estella (Jose+) Mejia, Eusebia "Cheva" (Carlos+) Soto, Josephina Rodriguez+, Eusebio (Diana) Rodriguez, Raul (Marisela) Rodriguez and Herlinda (Javier+) Mancha.
Also surviving her are her siblings, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
