Obituary

ANSELMA O. MENDOZA
Anselma O. Mendoza, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
Mrs. Mendoza was born in Camaron, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pasqual and Francisca Oliva.
Her beloved husband, Jose Enrique Mendoza.
Son-in-Law, Javier Castelar.
She is survived by her children, Jose Enrique (Graciela) Mendoza, Martha Laura Castelar, Cristina (Ruben) McGill, Alejandro Mendoza, Lidia Mendoza, Eduardo (Sonia) Mendoza and Elizabeth Mendoza.
18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Sister, Dominga Lopez and Matilde Flores.
Brother, Jose Oliva.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
The Mendoza Family has requested that all those attending will be required to wear a mask and asked to follow social distancing.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:05 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
