ANSELMO GONZALEZ JR.

Anselmo Gonzalez Jr., 76, Beloved Brother & doting Uncle, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

He was born in Laredo, Texas, lived in Dallas, Texas after being discharged from the Air Force and later returned to Laredo, Texas.

He worked at Laredo I.S.D.'s Child Nutrition Program several years and later retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anselmo and Agustina Capistran Gonzalez, his brothers, Arnulfo Gonzalez and Arnoldo Gonzalez and sister-in-law, Carmen S. Gonzalez.

He is survived by Armando (Carmen+) Gonzalez, Andres Gonzalez, Angelica Gonzalez, Anita (Juan Ramon) Gonzalez and Alejandro (Liliana) Gonzalez.  Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In compliance with City Orders by the Mayor of the City of Laredo, a private Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m., in the Hernandez Lopez & Sons, Northside Chapels 800 Boston St. Funeral Services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020.  Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
