ANTONIA ACEVES
Antonia Aceves, 86, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017, in Laredo, Texas.
Ms. Aceves was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and had been a long life resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois and later moved to Laredo, Texas.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her Son, Luis Aceves.
Granddaughter, Oralia Rodriguez.
Parents, Serapio and Clara Cerda.
Brother, Luis Cerda.
Sisters, Elsa Cerda and Petra Valles.
Niece, Eva Reyes.
She is survived by her children, Abel H.(Juanita) Rodriguez Sr. and Sandra (Gregorio) Delgado.
Grandchildren, Abel H. Rodriguez Jr., Adam (Ericka) Rodriguez, Andres Rodriguez, Isaac Delgado, Christopher Delgado and Marcus Delgado.
Great-grandchildren, Oralia Rodriguez, Avelina Rodriguez, Alec Rodriguez and Erin Rodriguez.
Brothers and sisters, Serapio Cerda Jr., Graciela Vigil, Aracely (Domingo) Alvarado and Javier (San Juanita) Cerda.
Nieces and nephews, Norma (Jose) Lopez, John Louis (Cheryl) Cerda, Tina Marie Cerda, Elsa Vigil, Francisco Vigil, Rene Nuñez, Louis Valadez, Clarissa (Aaron) Galvan, Jose Alvarado, Cynthia Valles, Marisa Valles, Arturo Valles Jr., +Eva Reyes, Minerva Rodriguez, Andres Rodriguez, Mario Cerda, Raquel (Refugio) Gomez and Jennifer Cerda.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious service will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
On Friday, August 11, 2017, a Religious service will be officiated at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
