ANTONIA GONZALEZ
Antonia Gonzalez, 93, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at a local hospital.
Miss Gonzalez was born in Austin, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She had been employed with the Texas Hat Company, as a Team Leader and Trainer, for numerous years. Miss Gonzalez became her mother's caregiver up until her mother was 91 years of age.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernabe and Fernanda A. Gonzalez.
Siblings, Rebecca Gonzalez, Jesus Manuel Gonzalez , Jose Gonzalez and Guadalupe G. Bosenburg.
She is survived by her brother, Abran Gonzalez (Berta+).
Sister, Juanita G. (Ramon) Robles.
Her caregivers, who are also her nieces, Ernestina G. (Leroy) Salinas and Irene Gonzalez (Jose M. Valenzuela).
Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
