ANTONIA R. RAMIREZ
Antonia R. Ramirez, 86, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Ramirez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, Juan and Basilia Ramos.
Brothers, Domingo Ramos and Gregorio Ramos.
Sisters, Gloria Sanchez, Juana Sandoval and Guadalupe Sandoval.
She is survived by her loving spouse, of 63 years of marriage, Antonio C. Ramirez.
Her loving children, Maria Elsa Ramirez, Sylvia Leticia (Bruce) Barker, Antonio (Lydia) Ramirez Jr., Rosa Anna Ramirez, Raul (Virginia) Ramirez.
Seven grandchildren, Monica Melissa (Ricardo) Gonzalez, Hector Antonio Ramirez, Natalie Diane Barker, Sarah Michelle Barker, Gloria Eliza Ramirez, Cynthia Alexandra Ramirez and Raul Ramirez Jr.
Two great-grandchildren, Giancarlo Gonzalez and Grecia Gonzalez.
Sister, Candelaria (Juan+) Velazquez.
Brothers, Vicente Ramos and Juan (Maria) Ramos Jr.
Also surviving her are aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
