ANTONIO G. CARDENAS Antonio G. Cardenas, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Cardenas was born in Patricia, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He is preceded in death by parents, Margarito and Mariana Cardenas. Mr. Cardenas is survived by his wife Maria de Jesus Cardenas. Children, Lupita (Horacio) De Leon, Laura Hilda (Rafael) Lara, Rosalinda (Moises) Alvarez, Antonio (Janie) Cardenas Jr., Juan Manuel (Cecilia) Castillo. Grandchildren, Horacio Antonio De Leon, Ricardo Xavier De Leon, Carlos Daniel De Leon, Jessica Mariana Lara, Briana Alexis Lara, Mark Anthony Cardenas, Christopher Matthew Cardenas, Ethan Brody Cardenas, Naydalyn Castillo, Natalie Castillo, Juan Manuel Castillo, Alberto Castillo. Also surviving are his other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
