ANTONIO COLLAZO
Antonio Collazo, 78, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Collazo was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Pascuala Collazo.
Sisters, Berta Collazo and Maria De Jesus Bernal.
Brother, Manuel Collazo Jr.
Uncles, Joe Nazario Barbosa, Margarito Barboza and Jose Juan Barboza.
Aunt, Miss Francisca Barbosa.
Brothers-in-Law, Felipe De Jesus Zepeda, Pablo Sanchez and Jose Fortunato Bernal.
He is survived by his sisters, Josefina Sanchez, Estela Collazo, Alma Rosa C. Zepeda.
Aunt, Hilda H. Barboza.
Lifetime Caretaker, Julia Cortez.
Nephews and nieces, Jose Alberto (Mary) Bernal, Maria Felicitas (Juan) Rodriguez, Rogelio (Rhonda) Bernal, Sylvia Casarez, Juan (Susan) Bernal, Andre (Lolita) Collazo, Jorge (Wendy) Collazo, Audrey (Saulo) Pedroza, Jose Manuel (Norma) Guerrero, Felipe de Jesus (Luz) Zepeda Jr.,Hector Rogelio Zepeda.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Mr. Collazo's family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Mateo Reyes and Staff, C.T.J. Cariño Primary Care, CMV Home Health Agency, his other caretakers, Gabriela Gutierrez, Jessie Sanchez, Blanca Resendez and Zoe Collazo, for all of the special care they provided.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
