ANTONIO SANTOS JR.

Antonio Santos Jr., passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the age of 89.

Mr. Santos was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He was a Veteran with the United States Army having served from 1960 up until his honorable discharge in 1962. He was assigned with Company D 44ARB, 144 Infantry 49th Armed Division.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Natalia Santos, Jr., His daughter Sandra Salazar, his son Marcos Santos, sisters Carmen Banda, Guadalupe Saldaña, Maria Del Refugio Contreras and by his brother Juan Santos.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years of marriage Francisca P. Santos.

His sons, Rodolfo (Sylvia) Santos and Eduardo Santos.

His Daughter, Melissa (David) Enriquez.

Grandson, Eduardo (Jennifer) Santos, Jr., granddaughters, Elysa Evette Santos and Melissa Medina Bocock, also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daughter-in-law, Claudia Santos and Son-in-law, Rafael Salazar.

Surviving him are numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 24, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment were held with full Military Honors and presentation of the United States Flag at the Laredo City Cemetery Veteran's Section.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Eduardo Santos Sr., Eduardo Santos Jr., Joey Gonzalez, Armando Hernandez, Leopoldo Montemayor, Erick Montemayor, Ruben Belmares and Eduardo Velazquez.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
