Obituary

ARMANDO GARZA
Armando Garza, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Garza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
Mr. Garza was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, in which he served with the United States Air Force.
He was Honorably Discharged.
He later began Garza's Family Taxi Organization which is still operating in Laredo today.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Preciliano and Sara Garza.
Spouse, Virginia Marroquin.
Son, Preciliano Garza.
Daughter, Anabell Garza Motteler.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 23 years of marriage, Nemecia G. Garza.
Children, Armando Garza Jr., Armando Garza Jr., Armando "Kiro" Garza Jr., Ana Luisa Garza, Ricardo (Elena) Ortegon, Sara Alicia (Tommy) Boatwright, Veronica (Spencer) Marroquin Lewis, Armando (Lola) Garza Jr., Aaron Garza, Armando (Linda) Garza Jr., Adriana Brenda (Jose) Mascorro, Victor (Nina) Garza and Oscar Garza.
Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery- Veteran's Section.
