ARNOLDO GONZALEZ FLORES

Arnoldo Gonzalez Flores passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 79, where he resided with his wife Maria Gonzalez of 20 years.

Mr. Gonzalez was born in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico. He grew up in Rodriguez NL, Mexico. He worked in South Texas where he first married and by the age of 31 he had fathered 6 children and raised them in Seagoville Tx. and at 45 he had fathered his youngest son.

He is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Zeferina Gonzalez Flores.  His brother Victor Gonzalez.  His second eldest son Miguel Eduardo Gonzalez.

He is survived by his sister Martha Alicia Gonzalez de Bailleres and his brother Rodolfo Gonzalez. By his sons, Jose Arnoldo Gonzalez,  Jorge Alberto Gonzalez, Hector Xavier Gonzalez, Ricardo Antonio Gonzalez, Ramiro Rafael Gonzalez and his daughter, Norma Dollie Gonzalez Barrett, Maria F. Mata-Sanchez, Araceli Mata-Sanchez, Francisco Javier Mata-Sanchez and Margarita Isabel Mata-Sanchez.

Also surviving him 27 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Liturgy of the word officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonardo Aguillon will be held at 3 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal Services and interment will be held in Rodriguez N.L. Mexico at a later date.
