ARTURO A. CABRERA
Arturo A. Cabrera, 29, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, in Pearsall, Texas.
Mr. Cabrera was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of the United States Army, who served as an Infantryman Specialist, during the Afghanistan Conflict, and was Honorably Discharged in 2011. Mr. Cabrera was duly decorated with the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Medal, Nato Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his child, Baby Cabrera.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristina Cabrera.
Children, Aiden Alberto Cabrera Jr. and Keysha Bailey Villegas.
Parents, Roberto and Maria Guadalupe Cabrera.
Siblings, Roberto (Norma) Cabrera Jr., Hilda (Cesar Gomez) Cabrera and Lizbeth Cabrera.
Nieces, Adriana Gomez and Ximena Gomez.
Paternal grandmother, Rosario Cabrera.
Also surviving him are aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral arrangements are pending with the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Information with regard to the funeral services may be obtained by calling (956) 723-2979.
