ARTURO MENDOZA
Arturo Mendoza, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 81, to be with the Lord. He was born on November 3, 1944, to the late Encarnacion and Aurelia Mendoza.
Arturo was a devoted and loving father whose strength, determination, and faith guided his family throughout his life. With only a eigth-grade education, he built a successful company through hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to providing for his loved ones. He instilled in his children the value of a strong work ethic, integrity, and dedication—lessons that will continue to live on through them.
With God's grace and alongside the support of his former wife, Margie Guerra-Mendoza, Arturo helped build and grow Mendoza's Janitorial, creating a legacy of resilience and entrepreneurship.
Arturo had a deep love for baseball, both watching and playing the game. His passion for the sport was shared with his children, who carry on that love today. He was a devoted fan of the Houston Astros, proudly cheering them on throughout the years.
He is survived by his former wife, Margie G. Mendoza; his children, Arturo Mendoza Jr., A. Jaime Mendoza, B. Javier Mendoza, and Cindy Mendoza-Frans and her husband, Mark T. Frans; and his cherished grandchildren, Marky Frans, Lauren Frans, Katherine Mendoza, and Austin Ponce.
Arturo will be remembered for his strength, humility, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy will continue to live on in the lives he touched and the values he passed down.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
