ARTURO MONCIVAIS SR.

Arturo Moncivais Sr., 64, of Laredo, Texas, peacefully entered God's Kingdom on February 13, 2025.

He was born on December 6, 1960, in Laredo, Texas, to Lorenzo and Anita Moncivais. He graduated from Martin High School in 1980. ("Go Tigers") His livelihood consisted of working alongside his father's construction company for over 20 years. Among other professional jobs as a CDL Truck Driver in the oilfield. And later as a school bus driver until his retirement.

Arturo Moncivais Sr. is survived by his wife, Sandra Moncivais, his daughter, Karina and partner (Salvador Lopez), his grandchildren, Clarissa N. Velasquez, Analy N. Velasquez, Ignacio Velasquez III, his son, Arturo Moncivais Jr. and wife (April Moncivais).

He is also survived by his sister, Annabel Martinez, brothers, Reynaldo and Filiberto Moncivais and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and aunts.

Arturo is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Anita Moncivais; sister, Thelma Treviño; brothers, Lorenzo Moncivais Jr and Javier Moncivais Sr.

One of Arturo's greatest passions was music, dancing and celebrating family traditions that were instilled in him by his parents.

He was known for his humorous personality at saying funny jokes.

Rest in peace Babe, you are loved remembered and celebrated. Have fun singing and dancing in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Ray Guevara, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.

Committal services will be held on a later date.
