ARTURO RODRIGUEZ Arturo Rodriguez, 89, to God the glory for a peaceful journey to His loving arms on Wednesday March 4, 2015 in Richmond, Texas. Arturo Rodriguez, a hard worker, an avid rancher, one of the founders of St. Francis Mother Cabrini Church, a devoted Catholic and Cursillista, touch lots of lives when he worked for the Community Action Agency, he loved animals with a passion, a proud World War II Veteran, a very honorable and respected man who loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally, hands of steel, with a mentally to live life with hope till the last breath. Mr. Rodriguez was born in El Sauz, Texas - Starr County and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Cecilia Ramon Rodriguez. His Son Bernardo Rodriguez. His great grandson, Jesus Enrique Martinez. Sister, Ramoncita Guerra. Brothers, Amado Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez and Alvaro Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving children Ramon (Daisy) Rodriguez, Arturo (Irma) Rodriguez, Anabelle (Geno) Zavala, Rosaura (Alfonso) Perez, Jose A.(Emma) Rodriguez, Susana Cecilia (Arnulfo) Valadez. 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends, Brothers - Arnoldo Rodriguez, Bruno Rodriguez. Sister - Elva R. Arambula. Special thanks to Dr. Rafael Deliz. Also a heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Joaquin Mira from San Antonio, TX. for always going the extra mile, and entrusting us with his number since 2011, you're an angel sent from heaven, there's not many of you. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 departing from funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
