Obituary

ARTURO JASSO SR.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and father, Arturo Jasso Sr., who left us on June 7, 2025., at the age of 71. Mr. Jasso worked with the City of Laredo Bridge System for 24 years. He brought joy to family gatherings, loved karaoke and dancing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Manuela Jasso Sr.
Brother, Alfredo Jasso Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alcaria Jasso.
Children, Arturo (Becky) Jasso, Jacqueline Jasso and Jennifer (Jose) Vasquez.
Grandchildren, Klarissa, David, Arturo III, Alyssa, Kalyssa, Jose III, Melanie, Anthony, Zoey and Aiden.
Great grandchild, Marceline A. Casarez.
Siblings, Armando Jasso and Araceli Jasso.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS: Arturo Jasso Jr., Jose Alfredo Vasquez Jr., Armando Jasso, Cleofas Treviño, Angel Treviño, Anthony Jasso, Arturo Jasso III and Joey Vasquez III.
HONORARY PALLBEARER: Aiden Jasso.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
