Ascencion Campos, 93, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Campos was born in San Rafael de Allende, Mexico and had been a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Maria de Jesus Campos.
Spouse, Guadalupe Campos.
Sons, Juan Ramon Campos, Francisco Campos and Jose Campos.
Brothers, Felix Campos and Isidro Campos.
Sisters, Maria Campos and Carmen Campos.

He is survived by his children, Elvira (Arnoldo) Rodriguez, Maria Esther (Porfirio) Barbosa, Dora Elia (Juan) Medrano, Eliazar Campos, Leticia (Felix) Serrano, Gabriel Campos, Daniel (Blanca) Campos, Ernestina Sanchez, Alfredo (Francisca) Campos, Sylvia (Zeferino) Escalante and Virginia (Roy) Rodriguez.
56 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Socorro Campos, Francisca Campos, Graciela Campos and Antonia Campos.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service will be officiated by Pastor Danny Campos at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2026 at 10 a.m.. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
