Obituary

AGUSTINA J. GARZA Agustina J. Garza, 81, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Garza was an active parishioner and member of the Guadalupanas at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. She was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. Preceding her in death are her husband, Leandro Garza. Son, Juan Rafael Garza. Brother, Isabel Jasso, Felipe Jasso, Lauro Jasso and Enrique Jasso and Sister, Juanita Jasso Ramon. She is survived by her children, Norma G. Maciel, Thelma G. Jasso, Orlando Garza, Homero (Anita) Garza, Alma Garza, Reynaldo (Yanida) Garza, Leandro Garza Jr., Cordelia G. Herrera, Melissa G. (Agustin) Hernandez and Oscar (Jennifer) Garza. 32 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. Brother, Juan (Rita) Jasso. Sister, Zulema Gallegos (Harold) Rundell. Sister-in-law, Antonia Jasso. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose Angel Fernando Maciel Jr., Armando Garcia, Homero Garza Jr., Leandro Miguel Garza, Jorge Herrera Jr., Florencio Ruiz, IV., Felix Ray Ruiz and Jordan Herrera. HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Oscar Garza, Homero Garza, Reynaldo Garza, Leandro Garza Jr., Orlando Garza, Joseph Garza and Nelson Jasso.
