Obituary

AUGUSTO CESAR NEIRA
Augusto Cesar Neira, 90, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at a local hospital.
Mr. Neira was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Carlos and Gregoria Neira.
Brother, Santiago Carlos Neira.
Sisters, Sylvia Garcia and Elva Lozoya.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 68 years of marriage, Irene V. Neira.
Children, Sergio (Margarita) Neira, Javier (Gabriela) Neira, Carlos (Rosa) Neira, Rogelio (Martha) Neira, Jose Luis (Evelyn) Neira and Ricardo (Maribel) Neira.
23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at  Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
