AURORA G. CASAREZ Aurora G. Casarez, 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Casarez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria V. Gil. Loving husband, Juan Jose Casarez. Son, Hector Casarez. She is survived by her children, Gilberto (Virginia, dec'd) Casarez and Jose Casarez Jr. Grandchildren, Angelina (Rogelio) De Leon, Anna (Jeff) Sons, Lydia Casarez, Gilberto (Hope) Casarez Jr., Ricardo (Elsa) Casarez, Roberto (Rebecca) Casarez, David Casarez, Ernesto (Marisa) Zepeda and Lisa Escobar. Numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services will then follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
