Aurora G. Guzman, 84, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Mrs. Guzman was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Aurora Gutierrez.

Her beloved husband, Erasmo Miguel Guzman Sr.

Brothers, Arturo (Maria) Gutierrez, Alberto Gutierrez Jr., Victor (Maria) Gutierrez and Luis (Adela) Gutierrez.

Sister, Anita (Ernesto) Perez.

Mother-in-Law, Guadalupe Guzman.

She is survived by her children, MAria Elena Montoya, Diana S. (Juan Jose) Diaz, Yolanda Isabel Guzman, Erasmo Miguel (Maria Guadalupe) Guzman Jr., Jose Raul (Sylvia) Guzman, Ana LAura (Jesus) Quiroz and Olga Lydia (Jose) Manzano.

14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter..

Sisters, Lucila Martinez, Josefina (Ezequiel†) Treviño.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
