AURORA VILLARREAL Aurora Villarreal, 85, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Villarreal was born in Robstown, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas most of her life. She is preceded in death by her son Roy Villarreal, by her Brother, Victor Villarreal and by her Sisters, Francisca Villarreal, Emma Villarreal, and Consuelo Villarreal. Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her nine children, Roberto Villarreal, Grizelda (Albert) Allen, Rogelio Villarreal, Elizabeth Santa Cruz, Maria Elena (Gerardo) Sandoval, Jesse (Debbie) Velasquez, Juanita Serna Lozano, Ricardo Villarreal and Jose Garcia III. She is also survived by her 34 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Facundo Villarreal and by her Sisters, Diamantina Villarreal, Graciela Villarreal, Juanita Villarreal, Nilde Villarreal, and Ninfa Villarreal. The family would like to give a heartfelt gratitude to Laredo Medical Center nurses and staff in the Intensive Care Unit and also a special gratitude to Dr. Maurice Click and Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A Chapel service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
