BENITO GONZALEZ

Benito Gonzalez, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Mr. Gonzalez was born in Lampazos, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Gonzalez Tijerina.
Mother, Virginia Jaime Padilla.
Also precedeing him are his siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe S. Gonzalez.
Children, Julia Gonzalez, Yolanda Gonzalez, Juanita Gonzalez, Joefina Gonzalez, Virginia Gonzalez, Benito Gonzalez Jr., Abrahan Salazar and Adela Salazar.
Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sisters, Hilda Gonzalez and Tonia Gonzalez.
Brothers, Homer Gonzalez and Jose Luis Gonzalez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon,  will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
