Benito De La Rosa's Obituary
BENITO DE LA ROSA
Benito De La Rosa, 84, passed on peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. De La Rosa was born in Dolores, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Antonieta De La Rosa.
Sons, Pedro Benito De La Rosa and Mario Alonso De La Rosa.
He is survived by his children, Rosario Lanier, Sandra (David) Perez, Diana Garza, Jose Luis (Esmeralda) De La Rosa, Antonio (Mary Ann) De La Rosa, Guadalupe (Gabriel) Gonzalez, Patricia Gonzalez and Graciela De La Rosa.
Also surviving him are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Agustin Cathedral. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
