Obituary

BERNARDO COLLAZO
Bernardo Collazo, 45, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 , at a local hospital.
Mr. Collazo was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus  Collazo.
Maternal grandmother, Herlinda Rodriguez.
Nephew, Joel Hernandez.
Maternal Aunts and uncles, Roberto Rodriguez, Alejandro Campos.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Collazo.
Children, Bernardo Collazo Jr., Samantha Collazo, Bernice Collazo, Klarissa Zepeda, Enrique Zepeda Jr. and Kimberly Garcia
7 grandchildren.
Mother, Maria Guadalupe R. Collazo.
Siblings, Martha Alicia Costilla (Trinidad) Jesus Collazo Jr. (Carmen), Mario Alberto Collazo (Sylvia), Oscar Luis Collazo ( Maribel), Maria Elena Ortegon (Ricardo), Jorge Armando Collazo and Brenda Yvette Collazo (Pat).
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
